SUMMARY

Performs various duties involved with Quality Assurance. Performs various clerical duties concerning production and quality records.

DUTIES

Inspects all finished product to assure proper quality level.
Makes final disposition of suspect/nonconforming material.
Performs calibrations and maintains proper records of quality control instrumentation.
Checks daily production schedule with General Stock for available material. Informs Scheduler and Production Lead of available stock.
Reviews production and quality assurance paperwork for accuracy. Maintains proper files for all paperwork.
Prints stock allocation and nonconforming reports, compiles data from reports to be used to calculate Cost of Quality.
Ability to process all returned material.
Performs capability studies on drawing machines.
Trains new personnel in areas of quality assurance in conjunction with work instructions.
Assisting in the development and exercise of approved work instructions designed for this position.
Obtaining a firm working knowledge of TSW’s ISO quality policy manuals.
Performs root cause analysis using corrective action system.
Initiates and helps close Emergency Material Discrepancies (EMD’s).
Able to initiate mill claims.
