Taubensee has worked closely with KSF Pickling and Acid Recovery Systems to develop innovative state-of-the-art cleaning capabilities at Taubensee's Wheeling, IL and Henderson, KY sites. The pickling process removes scale, dirt and dust without damaging or impairing the surface of the rod. With pickling facilities exclusively designed and engineered to meet our processing requirements and environmental concerns, Taubensee is able to provide high volume quality production while maintaining zero pollutant discharge.

Our state-of-the-art wire coil-to-coil drawing department includes Morgan drawing machines that can produce diameters ranging from .0475" through 1.00". Whether processing your materials or ours, Taubensee offers the equipment and expertise for straightening and cutting to exact lengths.

Our cold drawn bar production capabilities are highlighted by three continuous in-line drawing, straightening, cutting and polishing lines. Each of these machines provide various testing and champhering capabilities, to provide exact tolerances time after time.
